I didn't think they were immortal. When I see a 0 pop up, I think 'shield'. That's why I got bogged down by the end boss for quite some time.

I found the ending a little unsatisfying. The final fight is really interesting, with a puzzle inserted into a fight. Pure genius, as far as I'm concerned. Yep. I was referring to plate. I didn't realise it wasn't unique.

I would like to point out that there are (at least) 4 armor sets. There is also the chitin one. Arguably, there is also a set of fancy clothing and leather.
