Now exploration is punished, because these G-D snow raptors will spawn endlessly and surround you in a narrow hallway if you dare to backtrack for something you think you might have missed. Perhaps you already solved the problem but just in case: Win7 64 bit is DirectX 11 compatible BUT it doesn't mean that it has all the updated DirectX 9 files in it. in order to update the file, when necessary, just download and run the setup file of the Direct X redistributable.
