Re: LoG with my 5 year old kid + 'Dungeon Addiction'
Stix, totally with you on this one. My GF is dubious about what TV and films are acceptable, but this game is perfect because the violence is almost non-existant. Although my daughter is developing a hatred of spiders eggs!

Re: Just 10 minutes playing, enjoying it more than Skyrim
Some people are speaking utter rubbish here. The OP is merely talking abut ENJOYMENT of the game not the qualities of that game. You can't really compatre the two in terms of overall quality but this game is about fun. Skyrim / LOG Story huge / non-existant (like the original games they tribute) Lor...

Re: Post your party here!
Minotaur - Fighter - Maceman Human - Rogue - Dagger Man Lizard - Rogue - Archer Insect - Wizard - Generalist This was my initial selection without knowing the game. Really lucky becasue there is a kick ass mace and dagger later in the game. Also I had no idea that a mage could magic the arrows which...

Re: LoG with my 5 year old kid + 'Dungeon Addiction'
I hated the counter-logic in games like Broken Sword (more Broken Bank Balance after phoning the help line) where there was no rational line of thought to solve some of the problems. Like lick clothes to make them wet so that you slide quicker down a shute. Oh yeh like duuuh why didn't I think of th...

Re: LoG with my 5 year old kid + 'Dungeon Addiction'
for me it was dropping bombs on the exposed and brutally wounded chest of a dragon in 'Forgotton Worlds' until its guts and heart burst open. Thanks Capcom for those nightmares as a 7 year old! As far as LoG, I think the violence is very very moderate for todays standard, but yes I used to jump out ...

LoG with my 5 year old kid + 'Dungeon Addiction'
Hi, before you go picking up the phone looking for your nearest child services I just wanna say my kid loves this game and is unfazed by all aspects! The usual well done to the Devs for making a great game. I played DM and CSB as well as various D&D games in my youth including EoBs and fell in l...

Re: blue crystal should replenish food?
Hunger and the need not to sleep all the time and manage your rest periods makes the game edgy. It would be boring if you replenished your food. I would even argue it shouldn't heal you either, maybe the ressurect is handy though.

Re: Foooooooooooooooooooood!
Lack of food makes the game more interesting becasue you have to limit the sleep that you take and push your luck with injured / no energy party members instead of having the option to recoup a limitless amount of time. If anything, I would like to see things more desperate (finished in hard and had...

Re: Things the devs didn't think through
Levelling up has always been flawed in every game of this ilk. I am a veteran of DM, CSB (sequal), EOB 1 & 2 and the much maligned Knighmare. In DM and CSB I loved the concept of resurrection (to keep skills) or reincarnation (no skills but fast learner). I always chose to reincarnate 4 wizards ...
