Re: About walls.
Hahaha, isn't that so true? And yet it's the most common of tropes for this genre that the first several areas are usually bland rock, while the deeper you go the crazier the surroundings become. Really though, I'd rather start off with plain looking dungeons and progress into cooler looking ones as...

Re: Average Age ...
I'm 25. Grew up with a PC and a Genesis. I've played the hell out of everything though. Emulation has been very good to me. Mainly an RPG buff myself, but I've ventured deep into all genres (minus sports).

Re: Any chance of a mini-map?
I've been dying to have a game like this, or the classic DM, on mobile. The Quest is the only game that's bothered to even come close. It'd be nice to see something fresher.

Re: Any chance of a mini-map?
I'm not sure you realize how time consuming it is to draw a map, and how annoying it is to pause your game to do something that the game should be able to accomplish for you. Not all of us have either the time or patience to do such a thing. Again, I realize hobbyists want to draw their maps. That'...

Re: Minor Gripe but anyone else think the torches need a twe
Yeah I felt the same way. It was weird to go from really warm, atmospheric lighting to a cold, almost LED style of light.

Re: Any chance of a mini-map?
I'm not one those old-guard types, and even I think a mini-map would just feel wrong. Though I would settle for being able to walk while the map is up. That's why I just called out Diablo 2. Really that's the same idea, but it's a transparent overlay instead of an individual window. That would be j...

Re: Any chance of a mini-map?
Thank you to everyone trying to keep people calmed the heck down :). It was a simple suggestion. I understand there will always be an attachment to "things as they were", and that's okay. There's no reason there cannot be a balance struck, however. Grimrock already has a "classic"...
