My mouse wrist disagrees vehemently.LoG requires a mouse because it's much more comfortable to play with a mouse. Why not mix business with pleasure?

Re: Some puzzles are **** like The Pillared Hallway !
This was one of my favorite puzzles in the game. I can certainly see how some can have issues with solving it (starting from the wrong place), but I did not.
I also loved how you got the hint-scroll immediately before a completely different puzzle.

Re: Broken compass, seems fine to me?
I can't really imagine the other way the compass should work then it is in LoG ... I played many games of any kinds also. EDIT: can anybody post a picture from some game, where compass is not pointing north? :) Seconded. I simply don't understand the issue here, can someone supply an example of whe...

Re: Calling Shenanigans on the 12 hour finish people
I'm at 32 hours and on level 6. Boy, I'm slow! Enjoying every minute, though, and it appears I get more of this enjoyment!
Oops, that's the Steam time listed. In-game it says 10:30.

Re: Just 10 minutes playing, enjoying it more than Skyrim
Skyrim feels empty because at no point do you need to think. I've grown increasingly tired of these rollercoaster experiences being labled as "games." Grimrock is a fun game rather than a poor movie, which most games have become today (it makes the most money unfortunately).

Re: Things the devs didn't think through
I don't know if you ever played Skyrim... but when you combined smithing/enchanting and alchemy the game broke dead, and I found my enjoyment of the game vanished. Couldn't agree more. I discovered that through experimentation after 160 hours of play. I made some ridiculous armors, and promptly nev...

Re: Things the devs didn't think through
I haven't put any points into the weapon skills. I've been maxing Dodge and Armors and Athletics, and having no problems. The only thing close to a problem I had was not spending any points in the elemental magic skills, so my mage had no spells at level 1. And that almost made it more fun (had to c...

Agree, this experience is far more enjoyable than any Elder Scrolls experience.
I've been sick of "immersive 3D worlds" since the late 90s. They are almost the opposite of immersive.

Re: Is food consumption move based or time based
Yes, it seems that every action will slightly reduce your food bar. Regenerating health or energy counts as "action" for this purpose.
So if you 'R'est with 2 members at full, those 2 members will not lose any food during the rest.

Starting Mage
I think I've done something wrong. I didn't think it was a good idea to specialize my Mage at level 1, so I put all 3 skill points into Spellcraft. Now I find I cannot cast any spells. Even worse, I've just noticed that because of this my Mage has gained only 50% of the experience my other character...
