Re: [spoiler] Final Boss discussion
If they destroyed the Undying one it would result in a catastrophic explosion. So instead they imprisoned him eternally. Who knows what actually destroying him has done. Maybe we will understand more in later expansions. The dungeon is ancient, it has a lot of mystery to it, it leaves a lot of ques...

Re: 4 Mages viable?
4 mages would be incredibly tedious to play, imo. Enemies move too fast, and spells do too little damage. It would be viable but you would spend a lot of time saving and loading, at least on hard imo. Particularly when you encounter any of the immune / resistant enemies. I just finished the game wit...

Re: Hardcore mode and difficulty levels
We have three difficulty settings that scale monster behavior in combat. On top of that there's old school mode which disables the auto map. We are also considering adding the permadeath option in a game update at some point but completing the game with this option would be very, very, VERY difficu...

Re: Wait... what?
All damage is based on Str (attack), not dex. (dex is only for accuracy / evasion.) As for how to set up your party, dagger rogue can only go in the back if you plan on speccing into assassination AND dagger. Functionally speaking, A rogue using Daggers and Bows will have the same level of evasion, ...

Re: The Rogue Party
Saw a video on youtube with 4 fist fighting mino-rogues.
Presumably front 2 got dodge skill for armor / defense, along with fist fighting.
Back 2 got assassination for back row reach, and fist fighting.
Seemed kind of broken.

Re: More tactical combat.
More diverse combat on the part of the player could be fun. Would be neat if you could "dual weild" for example, by using 2 weapons. Maybe attacking with the right hand weapon would put both on cooldown briefly, but the left would come off cooldown sooner, then using the left would do the ...

Re: What would you like to see added?
What would be really cool would be an alternative to the predefined party - exchange that for the classic "pre-dungeon" with portraits with different characters to pick from. A'la Dungeon master - I realize this does not fit the storyline very well with the party arriving in airship etc. ...

Re: Mages Rock
Mages are ok, but honestly they need either more versatility or more power relative to the melee / ranged skills. Running 2 mages 2 missile rogues, it's clear that against 1 target "packs" the rogues outdamage the mages about 2:1. If there is more than 1 enemy, it's more like 3:1 or worse....

Re: Things the devs didn't think through
I worry about a lot of the balance implications of the skill system. While the current system is passable, it makes it quite easy to mess up your character. the defensive skills are OK, but generally not worth it because to defeat stronger enemies you still need to resort to circle strafing and kiti...

Re: Ultimate party make up?
I'm atm fine with 2 warri + 1 rogue+ 1 Air Mage, but think about 1 warri 1 rogue 1 Air Mage 1 Ice Mage for next run. Air for High Damage and as i read here nothing is really resistent vs Ligtning and Ice for freezing Enemies. But not sure if a Rogue do really sence in first line, cause he will need...
