There is the slow heal over time, potions, & healing stones that I know of so far.

By accident, of course. Luckily I was half way through the second level, so I only spent about 2.5 hours playing. I did learn that all 4 characters need to be active in combat to receive xp. My 'wizard' was just holding torches until I saw his xp wasn't the same as the rest of the party. I honestly ...
