takis76 : Please do not use our thread to recruit for other projects. Everyone else : Thank you all for the continued interest in the group. Right now the team is busy with life. School, work, family stuff. So until we can all find the time to come together and talk, no one else will be pulled into...

Re: Dungeon Editor Progress
and second is if there will be a way to connect torch lighting to scripting; it could be nice for dramatic effect to have all the torchs go out when a player is walking down a hall. It shouldn't be hard to replace the torches by burned out torches. Unless you want the player to be able to pull them...

Re: Mod Team Theta - Official Thread
Hey Carrow and rdub, sorry it's been awhile since you posted. We've all been pretty busy with life.
Right now we're only actively looking for the positions posted on the first page. If we need additional people, we'll update the post. So keep an eye out.

Bah! No need for teasers. Doing open development is tough enough with all the pressure it puts on the devs. No need to open it up even more.Garcy wrote:As much as we want this, may it not be rushed
Also, any teaser screenshots? Or too early in development?
Cheers

Re: Dungeon Editor Progress
Admittedly, even ZDoom required extensive scripting for its puzzles. I just hope the "put object X in niche" puzzles don't require too much coding, so that I can give hints in Russian, transliterated in Latin letters, so you have to go look it up on google before you know what item you ne...

Re: Dungeon Editor Progress
I'd like to add a thought on a little possible cosmetic addition to the editor. When I place a secret switch a lever or a button of sort, I'd like to know if, from the position where they are activated, I could hear in-game the noise of the opening mechanism. Something like photoshop's distance too...

Re: Ultima Underworld Mod
hope Almost Human reach out to the licence holders of the above games Ultima - Owned by EA Bards Tale - Owned by Interplay EotB - Owned by WotC (See: Hasbro) I honestly don't see any of these big companies releasing their rights to a small indie dev. Or see Almost Human having the money to license ...
