Is it just me or do most of the posts complaining about backtracking or not having the correct item etc. come across as the player being younger of age? One way to randomize dungeons is to use a method similiar to Dungeons of Dredmor. Basically you have an xml text file that describes all the rooms that can be randomly generated. I also found a decent random dungeon generator.
