Re: New Party, lots of questions

Yes you can do that but then you are the basically wasting the great evasion potential of an unarmed master. I mean someone has to be on the front row and unarmed warrior is an ideal type to tank and dish the damage. The point is, fighter "monk" will still be dealing less damage than back...

Re: Brilliant game... but. A letter to AH and complainers.

Why not? If it is simply a case of having some settings people can change I don't understand why that is such an issue for you. Production costs and QA costs. For example some people would like randomized dungeons with randomized puzzles (whatever that means). While on the surface it will still be ...

Re: New Party, lots of questions

Warriors get more health than rogues so I would suggest going for a warrior monk since you won't have any spare skill points to put into dodge skill. Btw. you will only be able to reach about level 13 so plan your build accordingly. Rogues can take some Assassination and reach from the back row and...

Re: With regret

If you get unlucky with the timing, or not quite fast enough, you can end up with herders to two sides so all you can do is move to the corner, and if the herder on that side happens to walk in front of you then, you're sorta screwed. Except that your party can move several times faster than mobs. ...

Re: With regret

I actually got wasted by getting cornered and being in a poison cloud. And no, I didn't leave my computer. This was on easy. =) Given the time that it takes a mob to simply decide to attack you on Easy -- I still find it hard to believe. Unless you were STANDING in a corner (and in a cloud) fightin...

Standing patiently in the cloud still require (the complete lack of) player reaction. Like when you actually go away from your PC.

Re: New Party, lots of questions

1) Anyone would need energy for executing special skills. Not willpower, since by the time you receive those skills, you'll have pretty much enough energy no matter of your WP stat. 2) Any character is useful, so it's a pointless question. 3) You won't be able to hold a dagger that makes a noticeabl...

Re: With regret

I can't imagine how a person can die to any mob prior to level 6 if they play on Easy.
Perhaps if you leave the game running and go for a walk for at least an hour...

...that's the only way I can think of.

1) Yes/No.
2) No.
3) It's not the case.
4) Yes.
5) Depends on your skillset.

Re: Brilliant game... but. A letter to AH and complainers.

OP, you pretty much lost all credibility when you pretty much told Jag (someone with a disability) that 'this game isn't for him'. I suppose you tell folk in wheelchairs that stores without ramps, 'aren't for them' too, eh? And he's right, however "horrible" that might sound to some peopl...
