Re: developers... please improve balance of the weapons in g

You're wrong on the daggers, there is knife, dagger, fist dagger, poison dagger and assassin dagger (5) There are 6 swords (machete, long sword, cutlass, fire, nex, dismantler), and arguably the best due to the attack speed. There are also 6 types of mace (cudgel, koffer, flail, warhammer, ogre, ice...

Neither of these, but I did see EoB on Gameboy Advance. It played more like the classic PC SSI D&D titles where combat went into an isometric turn-based mode. See here.

Re: Console versions of the game

I'm a console gamer myself, but went back to my PC roots for this game. I can't see how it could work on a console, there would be no easy way to select which attack to make between the two hands of all 4 members, accessing the inventory and pressing buttons in the environment without the use of a m...

Re: Eye of the Beholder

I, too, thought Grimrock would be an awesome host for an Eye of the Beholder (1) remake, but classes aside you're forgetting the most significant component to the game... Xanthar. Classes would be easy to add with comparison to adding in Kenku, Drow, Rust Monsters, Thri-kreen, the list goes on. Ther...

Re: What would you like to see added?

I would love: * Healing mage skill, include heal-all, hunger replenish and resurrect. Passive skills to the party could include reduced food consumption or increased potion effect. * Dual wielding, or at least if two melee items equipped damage is applied for both. Possibly a 'Dual Wield' skill path...

Re: Dungeon Runner achievement Club

I has this also. Took lizardmen unarmed for the front row, maxxed Str the rest on Dex. Fist Fighter + Skilled with all points on unarmed. For the others, two insectoid mages with all points on fire, didn't bother distributing skills to save time, the damage benefit versus time taken to do so wasn't ...

Re: Quick Recasting, cause my finger broke.

Thinking about it some more, it would be great to have the previous cast runes already selected - and have them remembered for each hand. I.e., Right hand for firebolt, left hand for shock. That way you'd reward mages that use two free hands rather than those that equip a ranged weapon, torch or com...

Re: Suggestions for additional spells

I like the idea of a healing spell tree, how about:

Life = Heal
Life + Balance = Group Heal
Life + Poison = Cure poison/disease
Life + Physicality + Air = Nourishment (cure hunger)
Life + Death = Resurrect
