Re: Thoughts, Suggestions, and Hopes from completionists.
I was really hoping for a randomly generated experience, but the level of thought that went into many of the puzzles in this game would simply be impossible with a random generator. That's why the level designer is so important to this games longevity. Even if nobody makes something to rival the qua...

Re: [Spoilers] Last level not fun.
Next on Kurns list, "Legend of Grimrock: The Novelization". That was an entertaining read. And completely plausible. So whether or not it is what the devs had in mind, it would certainly be a worthwhile premise for a sequel.

Re: Dungeon Editor Progress
I'd be perfectly happy using a 2D editor, since the level design is effectively 2D. A preview mode would be handy, though, so you can make sure your own puzzles are solvable and such. On another note, I can't believe they're moving this quickly on this. I'd have taken a few weeks off to go sit in a ...

Evasion vs. Protection
Obviously, having a ton of both would be ideal, given the choice between the two, which do people value most? And a side question as well - Has anyone else noticed that having a ton of hit points is a poor substitute for both? Me, I prefer Evasion. If I don't get hit, I don't take damage. Lizardmen ...

Re: A question to Devs regarding consumers' behaviour and DR
My Legend of Grimrock was bought straight from the wonderful folks who made it, but I still activated my key on Steam. Admittedly, this was for the achievements and because I'm lazy and Steam is an easy way to keep my games in one place and sorted how I want. On the other topic of discussion, I will...

Re: A few zero effort changes to add variety...
Half elves got the shaft in 3rd Ed... But enough there, I like the stats you've got there. Elf and Dwarf would both seem reasonable to add, but orc would probably be too similar to Minotaur, stat-wise. Halflings might be like Elves but with Vitality and Willpower evened back out. Maybe give the litt...

Re: GrimBlock Premade Grid (Minecraft world save) 1.3
I remember the first time I played Minecraft. It was early in its beta stage, but a friend of mine and I found a cave that had so many shafts, branches, and such that it took about ten to twelve hours to fully explore. It was freaking amazing!

Re: [Spoilers] Last level not fun.
I actually enjoyed the end of the game in spite of the respawning critters. They added danger and urgency whilst dealing with the cube of doom. I will say, though, that the puzzles for getting the disable ray gun thingy were a bit simplistic compared to the majority of the game. The only reason we c...

I agree. The more modders/map makers can do, the longer the life of the game will be extended. And that will equal more sales and more content. Everybody wins!

Re: DLC
I would love to see an honest expansion, one with another dozen or so levels. Heck, several dozen would be awesome, too. I don't think a sequel is warranted just yet, as a combination of patches that add items, textures, and creatures along with a map editor could make for months of fun. According t...
