Re: [Linux] cursor issues
I have the same problem with AMD 4250 HD. But I'm wondering, is this going to be fixed or not?

Re: [Linux] Game crashes immediately after opening (SOLVED)
First of all, yes, I am running the Radeon open drivers (Gallium I think). I followed your advice and installed the "libtxc-dxtn-s2tc0" package. I've had already the "libtxc-dxtn-s2tc-bin" and the "libtxc-dxtn-s2tc0:i386" packages. So, thanks to libtxc-dxtn-s2tc0, the g...

Re: [Linux] Game crashes immediately after opening (SOLVED)
Sorry to open again this post, but I'm having a similar problem here. I installed Grimrock in my Ubuntu 12.04 LTS 64-bit with AMD k-125 and AMD 4250 hd. The game works great on Windows, but here in Linux is a different story. I already installed driconf, but there's not a single option to enable s3t...

Re: 2x2 strafing undermines character building [edited]
And all of the above will be made even more rewarding by a system that can punish you for a bad move. Some enemy that is so fast you can't always outstrafe it would make the combat system more dynamic and interesting. There already are enemies that are faster than you can strafe, and even strong en...

Re: What would you like to see added?
I'm not saying it'd be hard. I'm saying you're asking for a difficulty that removes strafing which means you'll get hit. Getting hit kills your mage; that isn't compelling game design. About compelling game design, i disagree that allowing any party to win any encounter (except few like Fighters ch...

Re: What would you like to see added?
I think it would be great if combat could have two different modes: - real time (as it is now) - turn based: I think this one could add more tactical depth. I really love this game, but the combat system is a bit awkward, specially with mages, casting and at the same time attacking with my fighters...
