Non-Steam version of editor

Is there any chance of non-steam version of editor after its final release?
I love Grimrock, but there is no way I will install steam on my computer... which makes me sad, cause I am looking for playing all those awesome dungeons that will be published in couple of month/years...

RPG Dead State Kickstater Campaign

Hello everybody, I do not know whether this post is not against forum rules, but in case it is, I apologize for posting it. As it seems, that LoG gathered a community of oldschool RPG lovers, I would like to point out a new endeavor in this field. Indie developers DoubleBear started a Kickstarter ca...

What about right-click which shows all of these entities and then choose one by left-click...
But, I don't know whether there aren't some other functions mapped to right-click...
Just a thought...

Re: [SPOILERS] Why I am not buying this game

I personally enjoyed every puzzle in the game! These make LoG what it is - old school! That was the way devs and the players wanted it. And to compare it to Dragon Age is preposterous. Sure, the game is not for everybody, as showed in this thread, but the game wasn't designed for everybody, particul...

Re: Dungeon Editor Progress

I guess sometimes it's easier to do as much as possible in advance to prevent problems in the future. i.e something may need to be redone which breaks all previously created fan made dungeons. That wouldn't go down well! :( Daniel. I understand, but it would suppose, that Petri will be changing &qu...

Re: Dungeon Editor Progress

As I see many great ideas here, I was thinking if it wouldn't be better to release basic editor as fast as possible (without any special functions mentioned earlier - e.g. range of sound) and add these highly useful (but not critical) features in next version. Because it seems that everyone is so ex...

Re: LoG spell system poll

I got it now, thanks for clarification.
I understand that this is final product, but I was kind of worried that devs might start thinking about some major spell system for LoG 2 or expansion and was trying to convey a message that there are some (actually most of) poeple, who like it the way it is.

Well, I did not want to make too many options, just to show whether people like or dislike the system in general.
