Re: Periodic crashes in Dungeon Editor
I have this exactly same crashing happening to me. It's quite tedious to reboot LoG/Dungeon Editor every 20min or so. As this is the only game with the problem, I haven't been arsed to update or try anything special to fix this. My PC-specs if needed: *Core i7 920 @ 2.67GHz *6GB DDR3 *nVidia GTX 560...

Re: Making new art assets (and WIP)
Obviously a bookshelf-wall needs to turned to a secret door, so if you pull the right book the wall opens a new room.

Re: Dungeon Editor Public Beta
Hello everyone, [Edit] Ok, That's not a bug : It's just Totally counter-intuitive ! It's need to facing the other direction than the hall ... Seriously ? The opening is the facing, for me. It makes thousands of sense actually. ;) There's two stair-types: _up and _down. The arrow is pointing to a di...

Re: Dungeon Editor Public Beta
I suggest using DropBox or Google Drive for that stuff. They're free and nicely working too.WeApOn wrote:Does the editor(or will it in the future) support Steam Cloud? Will I be able to work on a dungeon in progress at multiple locations without having to send the file to each computer?

Re: Dungeon Editor Progress
It also means there are going to be some very weird Grimrock mods. Skimpy armor doesn't work very well in Grimrock I'd say. :) But I'm glad there will be a Grimrock Nexus site. Is there any information about an exporter? What program is it for? Working on a mine tileset btw, but still need the edit...

Re: Dungeon Shop
I really didn't get the answer for this (and I'm sure there are people wondering this one too): Are voluntary PayPal links okay? This way those who really want, can drop few pennies for the modder, but it's not necessary at all. And how about this: Is it okay to put your download behind adf.ly links...

Re: Dungeon Editor Progress
I personally can't wait for the level editor to come out. I've already planned out half of my short campaign for LoG. I have experience of 4-5 years on Source's Hammer Editor, so level design isn't really anything new to me. This short project for LoG is going to be mainly to test things out, see ho...

Re: Hack n slash mode
Or you could just make lots of places where the walls close and the player is forced to fight in a confined space. That is something I had planned for my dungeon. That's going to be just annoying and frustrating if done too much. Sometimes it's good to flip the bird to player for little challenge, ...
