I got it. Apparently I was blind yesterday evening and didn't notice the niche

I'm almost at the end and found not a single illusionary wall. Good riddance to them, they were a sad artifact of the dark ages, designed to confuse the manual-mappers.

I did and found nothing, then I reversed all the levers thinking I got the combination wrong and explored again, still nothing what am I missing?

OK, I think I got the combination (one of the possible 2?), but what does it actually affect? I assume it has something to do with the but I can't find it.
