Re: Level Seven Iron Gate

That was honestly one of the most enjoyable puzzles in a game filled with very enjoyable puzzles :)

Re: Things the devs didn't think through

So what can be done? The perks themselves can be cut back so that the 26-50 progression doesn't yield such magnificent bonuses. Or maybe the devs can add an "Insanity" difficulty that would unlock only after completing Hard. And you could import your old party. That way you would have ano...

Re: do you guys have a fave weapon?

Assassin's Dagger, hands down. This thing rapes mobs and heal you at the same time.

Btw there's a sword "Flurry of strikes"? Isn't it a perk in the Daggers skill tree?

And there are slings?

Re: [Suggestion] Improve on Casting spells :)

Casting is absolutely no problem with 1 mage but the system OP is suggesting would surely help for groups with 2 or more mages.

As the game stands now it would be quite difficult to run a group of 4 mages and not just because the guys in the first row would die constantly :)

Re: Things the devs didn't think through

So basically it's a balancing issue you're talking about, right? Could e.g. be solved by giving the characters more exp in general or making the traits available on lower levels. I haven't played enough of the game yet, so I'm not able to tell if you're right. But if you were, it'd shurely be a val...

Re: Things the devs didn't think through

Yeah, didn't want to get confrontational or inflammatory at all. But if you play a game and certain things just don't fit, you point them out. How else are the devs supposed to get any useful feedback if all comments would be like "Great game guys, keep the good work"? Of course it's bad i...

Re: Things the devs didn't think through

Guys, guys you got me all wrong. I'm not "complaining" about anything. And it's not about enough gold keys. It's more like if there were several gold locks in the game and NO gold keys. There are several traits that nobody will ever get. Maybe if you played just for the heck of it without ...

Things the devs didn't think through

The auxiliary skills come to mind. I mean nobody can ever get anywhere near Iron Body (Athletics), Armor Master (Armors), Ninja Master (Dodge), Master Assassin (Assassination), Archmage (Spellcraft) and Staff Master (Staff Defense) simply because you'd have to put 0 points in your weapons/magic skil...

Re: The most powerful group?

In reaction to all things said: 1. Magic - Earth is useless although the Poison Shield does come in handy now and then and the Poison Bolt with Shaman Staff is not bad either. But probably not worth the points. Ice is great with the freezing perk but Fire has the Fire Shield which is very useful for...

Re: "Severed dread" almost makes me want to uninstall the ga

I think the puzzles were absolutely wonderful, maybe except two or three that were really without any clue at all. The Iron Door with the red gem was the worst for me, I just didn't figure out that one, had to google it up. And then it wasn't the typical facepalm, I was pissed. So random. Bad devs, ...
