Very nice post with advice to go by, thank you!
And seeing as I am way more interested in puzzle solving and dungeon exploring than I am with monster bashing, restarting on easy really isn't a big issue for me.

Re: Questions and comments
Well, 10th floor. The flying mages who use all four elements can (and do) virtually wipe my party in two seconds and won't die because of miss miss miss miss. That and unloading two mages worth of mana on them does sweet nothing. I can't decide if this is a game designed for puzzle/exploration that ...

Re: Questions and comments
See, most of you are proving my point. The first ogre was exciting. The second ogre, well, now you knew his pattern, but still fun. What if there had been 50 ogres on a single floor? I'm not saying the combat is boring, it's great actually. I'm not saying there are no 2x2 spaces to fight the ice liz...

Re: Questions and comments
So I'm a very slow player, being a new parent and all, I don't play as much as I used to. I also like to take my sweet time and explore everything before moving on. This brings me to halfway through level 9 so far. I know saying this won't make me the most popular person on this forum but I gather t...

Re: The Party of One [warning: latest posts may contain spoi
The one man party in question is entirely possible even if you haven't finished the game. This I know for a fact because I haven't finished the game and I'm doing it right now. However, since this could be considered an exploit and since it's just boring to be handed the solution, I'll keep my mouth...

Re: From Bioware fan, improvements to Grimrock
So if I really fondly like Grimrock AND Mass Effect, I'm not normal? The comparison is silly. Bioware specializes in RPGs. Grimrock is not an RPG, it's a Dungeon Crawler and a pretty damn fine one at that. Besides choosing if my fighter turns left or right, hits hard or REALLY hard, there is not muc...

Questions and comments
Hello devs, hello fellow players. First of all, thank you for an extremely satisfying game. Ever since the DM/EoB days, I have been craving for a good, quality grid-based dungeon crawler. You guys certainly delivered. I have a few questions regarding the game as it is and the game as it might become...
