I'm down to level 9 now and I have never ever spot a single "Witch Flower". My guess is that it's simply the alternative name for one of the existing herbs. Probably Blooddrop Blossom, since that's used to make mana pots.

In the latter levels, depending on your resistance and gear, things can become very hard on Normal. The first two levels were supposed to be easy. Rest assured, you will get a challenge, whether from combat or traps.

Ice Bolt is awesome. There is a couple times when a lucky freeze saved my entire party from being crushed into pump by an ogre charging down a long hallway.

I think the only penalty is that dead party members don't get exp from combat while they are still dead.

If it's a melee rogue, then Assassination is a must, no? Assassination rank 12 allows melee attacks from back row. In that case evasion is not as useful. Instead what I'd do is to have a throwing weapon in off hand. That way your rogue can contribute to something when the enemy is at range, or when ...

When I built my Mino I didn't give him any Dex, now he's level 10 and can't land any hits. He's now only a pack cow.

The only way to increase Dex post-creation is via items or by speccing into swords. Since I already specced my other fighter into swords, I didn't want to create gear competition.

Those blue giant floating rocks are resurrection stones. They are available on every level, and can be used once every few minutes. They can also be used to fully recharge your party's health and mana even if nobody is dead.

All attacks use energy. So far I haven't seen a fighter/rogue running out of energy even in the thickest of the fights. Special attacks are randomly triggered.

A big chunk of food is going to take a lot of space in your bag, regardless of how heavy it is. Herbs on the other hand are tiny and can be tightly packed. You will be able to find plenty of sacks (6 slots) and boxes (8 slots) along the way. They are rather useful containers. My useless cow carries ...
