Re: First Game Over/Party Wipeout [Possible Spoilers in Thre

Second boss.. well, think it's second, it was actually in a secret area. Stone dudes.

I could have beaten them if I'd had enough healing potions ready but I thought... "secret area, that's just nice stuff right?"

It wasn't just nice stuff.

Re: Encumbered?

Yep, it takes a while of adjusting your RPG sense, because we've got used to keeping stuff to sell at vendors, but you're safe to dump things you won't need anymore. This is quite important with weapons and armour since it weighs quite a lot!

Guess its the same with EQ ?

The old one are the bests ;).
I've played a lot of MMOs but Star Wars Galaxies was the one I actively did a lot of actual role-playing in.

1: How old are you? 33 2: Where are you from? Jersey, Channel Islands 3: Top 5 RPGs (however you define them)? Dungeon Master, Morrowind, FFVI, Demon's Winter, Star Wars Galaxies. 4: Top 5 non RPGs? TIE Fighter, Deus Ex, Half-Life 2, UFO, Jedi Knight (Lucasarts used to rock :( ) 5: What was the game...

Re: Luring enemy into traps - no xp?

Are you sure they died, the knights I've dropped have survived the fall? I jumped in after them to finished them. And squished a giant snail when I landed. But anyway, no. XP is given to characters individually for participating in a fight, idle chars don't get any. So if nobody hacks at them then n...

Re: A day or so in, what is your general impression of the g

I absolutely love it. Incidentally, I made the same Mage mistake as the rest of you, so I gave him some rocks to throw and soldiered on without spells until he levelled. No at Dungeon Level 6, he's a level ahead of the rest of the party! Edit: Should probably mention that I'm also a Dungeon Master, ...

Re: An actual quiver

I very much agree here. My rogue is duel wielding 6 throwing knives and 5 shurikens and i still run out in big fights. Using bows seems like a total nightmare I have like 4 types of arrow but only 2-3 of each. I would love to use a bow but I'd have to switch ammo all the time. Use the enchanted one...

Re: Missle weapons, yay or nay?

I'm starting level 6 and I have more arrows than I do throwing knives or throwing stars. When you pick up enchanted arrows, don't be afraid to use them. Your mage can enchant them again anyway. Once used they become normal arrows and will stack with your current onces. I also keep a spear in my mage...

Re: Level 4 - Moving teleporters counter clockwise

This was the first puzzle that made me realise that Almost Human are just as devious at puzzle design as the Dungeon Master devs were fifteen years ago :D
