That's exactly what I did, I thought there must be a .cfg file somewhere, but couldn't find it for the life of me. Steam likes to scatter files across my computer like confetti, but all is well and the game is being thoroughly enjoyed now. Thanks!

I was tinkering with the resolutions since mine isn't supported to see which was the best and tried out windowed mode.
