Re: Fighting Ogres, how do you?

Killed one ogre via 'matador' and one via 'death from above'. The latter was highly amusing. Beer went up my nose backwards.

Re: FOV

You are correct. I was exagerating. But I wasn't able to find a 120hz 16.10 display; and that was important to me. In general they have definited moved away from 16.10 displays. A big shame, really. 1920x1200 is much better than 1920x1080, but the industry is all 16:9 now (unless you feel like payi...

Re: revive

But how exactly do you use the blue gems? I have a fallen party member. I have two blue gems. I have touched them, I have dropped them on the guy, I have given them to my mage, he has tried to use them. What??????? those are for a... different purpose. You're looking for a large blue crystal floati...

This becomes a bigger issue when you use 16:9 and instead of widening the horizontal FOV to compensate, it na...

Re: FOV

The problem is this. I play on a 27" display that's set about 18" from my nose. That works great for most games, most of the time. But when a game has a really narrow FOV, it's very disconcerting. Narrow FOV is not a good thing; it might be a good thing for some people, but then they don't...

Re: Incremental Skill Values

Developer request -- can you document (post response to this for FAQ or something) the following: 1) What are the implicit benefits of each skill (for example, it's not clear in the tool tip that 1 point of Axe adds +1 to Axe attack). There are quite a few cases of this -- Staff Defense, for example...
