Re: Divinity: Original Sin - Kickstarter

Kinda...but it actually was more like crossing Diablo with a proper cRPG. Basically, click combat with loot however the world was very open and interactive. It had lots of dialog, nice amount of choice and consequence, and stuff like that. Very good game IMO. Thats the original Divinity though, ther...

Divinity: Original Sin - Kickstarter

Well they went the kickstarter route: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/larianstudios/divinity-original-sin There's tons of new media/info on the KS page...but the long and short of it is they are almost done, but they need help pushing through the final stages of development and to add more featu...

Re: Congrats on your great success!

I had to create an account just to clearify some things to the topic creater. Almost Human took the core elements of a good old dungeon crawler game and made it into what it is. The simplicity of the current game is what made this game successful, I don't think you understand much of game mekanics ...

Re: Congrats on your great success!

I think the opposite, while functional the skill system is a bit underwhelming. I think the game can definitely benefit from a deeper character development system. The fact some stuff is unintuitive is more of an interface issue, not really a problem with the skill system. Regarding weapons they kin...

Congrats on your great success!

Just wanted to drop in and say congrats and thanks to the devs on their reported success! Great game, and well deserved! Also wanted to give some suggestions on future features/improvements as well: 1) More in depth skills system. 2) More classes and races. 3) Better variety of items and added speci...

Re: Please not mods/DLCs

Even more, as pointed out above there's a new Neverwinter games coming out as well. The argument the OP is trying to make is really silly and flies in the face of what's actually observed in the gaming industry. Some of the best selling and longest lasting (still played) games out there are heavily ...

Re: Brilliant game... but. A letter to AH and complainers.

I don't know why there's even an argument to be had here...the dev's said themselves they welcome all feedback (as long as it's polite) and the game is not aimed only for a specific group of gamers but all gamers.

Re: Brilliant game... but. A letter to AH and complainers.

Kudos to Almost Human on a truly incredible game, however I have to disagree with the rather arrogant and exaggerated portrayal of the people presenting, often constructively, feedback on the game. Personally, I like when my game's community gives me feedback. Not only do I like it but I often make...

That's concurrent players...I'd imagine the number of people who actually purchased it today (and yesterday) is much higher.
