ok, so the fire sword on its own never let me in but when I had both swords equipped then it did

i've cleared all of level 7 and it still didn't let me in so I am wondering if you actually need to have a fighter in the party (i have 2 rogues and 2 mages)

i'll back track and go find the sword and see if that lets me in

Think about a zoo and how they keep the animals

I just tried to draw them back towards the door as they can spit through the fencing - disease stops regen but does eventually wear off if you sleep long enough

Only trouble I had was I was levelling skills faster then I was getting scrolls to tell me what the spells are - which means you have to engage in random casting to try and work them out
