Not drawing my own map...but what would be good as an inbetween difficulty level would be that the automapping starts to either fade over time if you don't revisit the places or there is a radius around your party that the map is drawn, so beyond that it fades. Sort of like trying to remember where ...

Why don't u use the stand alone installer?

Just had about 1/2 hours play. Killed a few snails and explored a bit. Very Nice. Brings back some great gaming memories from a 47 year old jaded computer gamer who started out with a 386DX 33mhz and a 256k gfx card. I think I'll enjoy this a lot!
