Re: [Linux] Game will not launch.
Heh, I'm getting the exact same thing. I did have it running on 64bit 12.04 LTS, oddly enough. Long story but I ended up back on a fresh x86 install of 12.04, and it won't execute. I'll try to google-fu it and post back.

Re: So to get the editor I must buy the game *again* ?
I did that as well. Downloaded the new full version from GOG, and then downloaded patch. All is good. I am wishing I would have bought through Steam at this point, only because I am worried most of the mods will be ending up there before they land on Nexus.

Re: Steam/Nexus upload to both
I have to second that. I have access to Steam, but purchased on GOG since I use Linux, and really hadn't messed with Steam yet. Anyway, keeping them in both places would me a lot to me and others in my situation who love to play mods.

Re: Play custom dungeon without Steam?
Okay, so I downloaded the latest version from GOG, and patched with the patcher. All is working. I am playing via WINE in Linux. Where is the "dungeons" folder located? Not seeing it in the wine dir. Do I have to create it? *edit* nevermind. I simply made a custom dungeon using the editor,...

Re: Play custom dungeon without Steam?
Ok good enough. I was afraid it was something like that. Well I will eagerly await the final release and the updated version to GOG so I can play!

Play custom dungeon without Steam?
So I bought the game on GOG.com. I do have a steam account, but not with Grimrock. I downloaded a custom dungeon, and put it in the Grimrock folder. I cannot select it as a custom start dungeon. Am I missing something?

Re: Patching FAQ
GOG stated in the forums that they don't host a patch, they host a fully patched full version you will have to redownload. Uninstall, and reinstall save games are safe. If you want to be extra careful, just back up the savegame folder before you do. http://www.gog.com/en/forum/legend_of_grimrock/gog...

Re: Run using WINE?
Part of that garbling was my fault too. I used your last post on another machine, and it worked fine without any complications. However, for anyone else not familiar with wine, you have to create your export directory first before running that first command. Also, at the end I had to run winecfg onc...

High CPU usage?
Just dropping a quick question here. It seems I should be able to play on highest settings with the desktop I currently have, but I'm struggling. There's a lot of variables, and I have fiddled with what I have been able to. Dell Optiplex GX620 Pentium 4 Dual core, 3.2GHZ RadeonHD 5450 1GB RAM Ubuntu...
