I cant wait to start modding however I will have to wait for the proper tools to come out because most of what you just said sounds like greek to me. With that being said I am glad there are others like you that diving right in

I would like to have a 4 slot spell book that can be hot key'd to alt 1, alt 2, ect... then when we click on the spell book it would allow us to select 4 different rune combinations and they would be assigned to those hot keys for quick and easy access.

Guys you will most likely need to kill steam then restart steam on your computer before you can start downloading the game if it still says Grimrock Preorder in your game list.
