Allright, it finally went through. I had to remove his username, create a new message, search through the member users and re-add the name.

The "To:" space only has the username of who I am sending this message to. This is automatically filled out when I "reply" to his message. I tried it anyway, and attempting to send a message with that field blank results in the same error.

I received a pm from one of your staff (I would assume) requesting my transaction id. However, when attempting to reply I get a message stating "The requested users to be added do not exist."
