Re: Change difficulty mid-game?
Well it got easier for me at lvl 10. Seems I was exploring high lvl areas first (Stormbreach), then I went into the Bog and I could clear that without excessive circle-strafing. Maxed out my relevant damage schools in the meantime as well so should be smooth sailing from here on. Read a dev quote th...

Re: Change difficulty mid-game?
Oh I see. Well he says the game got easier later, so perhaps I should just keep playing.

Change difficulty mid-game?
I'm at lvl 8 on hard and I'm growing tired of the hp bloat and endless circle strafing. Is there any mod out that lets me lower the difficulty without starting over?

Re: Black Crypt Mod
Hey, are you still working on this? I just started recreating the first 2 levels of BC in the editor but then found out about this mod so wanted to have a look at it. How how can I download it? I can't see a dl link on the steam page http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=97779443 tho...

Re: Things the devs didn't think through
Farming/grinding breaks dungeon crawlers/RPGs. The games are designed to be difficult. The skill for the player is to overcome that difficulty, as efficiently as possible while creating the most resilient and effective characters. It defeats that mechanic if you just stop and gain a few levels befo...

Re: Things the devs didn't think through
Best grinding spot:
SpoilerShow
during the final bossfight; various high lvl mobs are constantly spawning, you just have to kill them before the boss does.

Re: For those that beat the game. Let's get some basic stats
1)16 hours according to the game, probably something like 20-25 in RL. Lots of reloading if anyone died as I cba backtracking to a crystal. On hard, with automap 2)No 3)66/71 5/7 15/16 10/10 5/5 - completed all the armor sets, but probably missed some weapons and other stuff 4)13-14 5)7/10 some leve...

Re: Key Buffering problem with timed puzzles
Actually there is buffering. If you hold the key down you will keep moving in the direction even if you let go before the animation finishes which is rather imprecise. What helped me through the more annoying puzzles was to just quickly tap the keys and time them in a rhythmic fashion. Also saving m...

Re: Suggestions for additional spells
Maybe some more supportive spells would be nice too? Like bless or something like that. Can easily 'think' (borrow) of a huge amount of spells from that category. Protection/shield, heal/increased regeneration, haste, slow (on enemies), obscure (to increase evade), blind, and so on. Lots of room fo...
